Sitting watching flowers in the rain.

Mega headache due to nasty attack of sinusitis and plans for today washed out so had to amuse myself somehow, I had a play on here whilst watching the rain chucking it down, I do know that its a lot worse in some places though.
Bambi is so pleased he never made it to the outside world..
Very royal this year…
Whilst admiring the flowers from my armchair I spotted one of our pond residents going out to dinner…
Some came in for dinner, apologies for quality, it was
raining too hard and had to take them through the glass.
Completely amazed as thought I`d lost them completely, I emptied the pots over the raised beds last year, I`ll be leaving them alone and hoping they get through next winter…
Back indoors again, boy its getting dark very early today, rain has stopped and another little mate has arrived for supper..
A day of armchair gardening, did do a bit of housework as well, lol……

Yes Ydd, luckily I cut the grass yesterday, its growing so fast now I`m doing it twice a week, better than earlier in the season when I was leaving it because of the drought.
Thanks Sticki, I`m a terrible moody so and so if unwell, no patience whatsoever and try to work things off, I have to admit it cheered me up watching the birds and frogs, ears clearing now so hoping headache will go soon....

Lovely pictures Lincslass and i think they turned out really well considering the rain .You did well also to capture the frog and birds just at the right moment. Usually if i see something ,by the time i have the camera ready the birds etc. have gone.Your garden looks really pretty ,and is that a deckchair i spy getting wet? Hope you're feeling better now and i agree Olive we do need the rain now.
