Busy and very noisy..

For more than a week I have been watching all the coming and going around my Ceanothus and pond area. My resident wren had moved in and very busy feeding two little chicks, the noise from these little birds was unbelievable, that is what attracted my attention in the first place.
Caspar had also become aware of them, I know for certain that one has not made it through, however I was watching early this morning and the adult wren was going frantic around the back of my pond under the apple tree, it was raining so none of the cats were out, pleased to say I cannot see the wrens anywhere so I`m hoping one of the chicks has made it to safety.
I did get a couple of pics but for some reason I cannot download any on goy at the moment….

They worked so hard feeding and caring for them, I was upset when I found one on the floor, Caspar got a right smack for hanging around that area and scaring them but as I said I`m sure one got away safely. I cannot find the actual nest so think it must be hidden away under the back of my waterfall....

I hope the wrens have survived. I haven't seen any since living here. I think they are pretty little things (as birds go)
