Perfect Way to spend Good Friday...

Where else on what has been a really warm and sunny day than in the garden… Lawns all cut, shot taken from bedroom window.
The frogs have been busy in the bottom pond.
Netting is to stop Brynner eating the frogspawn.
Marsh Marigold in bloom
also in same pond..
Dug over the square bed and topped it up with lots of good stuff from out of my bin, then I sowed Leeks, Spring Onions, Lettuces (two varietes) and half a packet of Beetroot left over from last year..
As you can see I have popped a wire net over the bed, thats to hopefully stop the big fat pigeons raiding when my crops grow…
Had a change around in the greenhouses, I will soon need the space in the top house for my Tomato’s as well all the new seedlings that I am not s’posed to be sowing this year..
So I have had to move my Succulents, Alpines and various other bits and bobs down into the bottom house..
I have plans for tomorrow but if the weather does what is predicted I can rest easy knowing I am on track again….
Happy Easter Everyone …..

I'm glad you were able to spend some time in the garden. It's very tidy and well cared for :)

I certainly picked the right day, its a very windy, cold, grey day and now raining, soon need the lights on and only 4pm, not even tempted to work in the g'houses, it was a chore to go shopping but needs must, I was very good and left the new plants where they were, lol....
Shirley it is a geranium, no idea of its name though as it was growing in my daughters garden when she moved in, I begged a shoot last year...

It looks lovely, Lincslass. I think we've got the same weather here today ?. Happy Easter, anyway!

Happy Easter to you Lincslass. The Geranium looks like G. Phaeum, if it has blotched chocolate coloured leaves, variety 'samobor'.

Great blog..garden looks amazing and very colourful for March. Its blowing a gale here now, but hey-ho. We have to make the best of it when its sunny. And as you say, plenty of time to catch up as everything moves so slowly until Mid May.
