Its my birthday today and what better way to spend it than in the garden,Ive been to mum and dads and made a start on their borders( you wont believe how many Grape Hyacinths I,ve banished to the rubbish) then it was home again to tackle the rapidly spreading Pampas Grass,two hrs later hubby had to go shopping and below is my present to myself as my bins were all full and I was desperate to hide the rubbish.

The instructions said it clicks together easy,HUH!!!!!!!!., anyway its sorted,the Pampas is smaller and after I,ve reseeded the area around it, all will be as it was.Below are some of my presents I received from my family.

I even found time to sort out the feeding station but its not planted up yet,well theres only so much one can do in a day.All in all I had a great birthday.(just noticed the time and now my birthday was yesterday..lol.

Pampas is looking a wee bit tatty and I,m cut and scratched but we will both revive and I had a great birthday……….Look who found the new feeding station.

Happy Birthday for yesterday/today. Sounds like you had a wonderful day. I can think of nothing better than a birthday doing gardening. You certainly chose a useful present to yourself, a compost bin will last for years and your garden will certainly benefit from all the free compost you'll make. Well done.
