Went to the Lakes for the weekend and had a smashing time,the weather was perfect so obviously photography was priority No 1,here,s a few flowers for Mookins.

The birds in the Whinlatter Forest are very well fed Bb you would be in your element.
Yes I was at the Lakes.lol.
Nearly missed this one,isn,t it pretty.
I could not resist this little one he/she was not budging under any circumstances,lol.

its so tranquill and the views are breath taking, you can walk for miles, lovely little villages, it gets so busy in summer,sometimes hard to get into some places cause they are small and parking a nightmare, but worth the wait

Great photos, LL! A very enjoyable blog as well! I love to see many of the wild flowers we have around here. Even the Daisies & Dandelions & Bindweed all look fabulous in flower - in the wild obviously! There is also a delightful Geranium (Cranesbill) that grows wild near the river that runs through here.
