Linda...your garden just oozes "wonder" in my heart and mind....it's a beautiful space...reminiscent of my childhood memories of gardens. It's amazing how many shades of green there actually is. Lovely photos. :)

You have a great garden: just how big is it?

Nice to see your garden, and it all looks lovely and fresh even in the autumn.
I preffer the autumn anyway. The summer is always too hot or too wet. In the autumn the rain feels more natural, and the sun doesn't burn us.

It's still looking great :-)

I love your garden Linda235, I do not have much colour in my garden too...I am more a shrub and evergreen person, my colours come mainly in the spring and middle summer for roses and the odd daisy flowers...

Very lovely Linda and wow, such mature shrubs....lots of seclusion in there and plenty of evergreen for the winter too!

Thanks everyone, I will photograph the front garden tomorrow when it stops raining. The trees are lovely with their autumn colour.
I will get the measuring tape out Geraniumdad and tell you how big the garden is. Feet and inches!!
I love the various greens and the leaf shape too Whistonlass and Michaella, the garden is very peaceful Lincslass, but our summers are like autumn so I prefer the summer. Being burnt isn't a big problem here Hywel. I am a November baby so I love the rust and golden colours at this time of year.
We have a lot of greenery in the winter Karen. It is a very old garden (100 years)
so the shrubs and trees are big!! Thanks Grindle, the frost will change things pretty soon.
