What a Difference a Day Makes, Twenty- Four Little Hours.....

We woke up to snow this morning. It didn’t stay long as we had a beautiful sunny afternoon. The plants seem to have survived the assault but, I would rather that was the end of it. Winter hopefully is passing into spring once more. The weekend looks fine. :0)

No snow here but the wind is so strong recently but, mustn't grumble as it was a lovely sunny spring today despite the strong wind!

Lets hope thats the last of the snow for you Linda and Spring is here to stay for you.
Same here cold very windy like Paul had. I heard the other week we will get a cold Spring but May will be very hot.

We've had lots of rain. wishing for things to dry out enough for us to cut the lawns which one is full of thousands (literally) of sycamore seedlings. Its been a grand year for them...and the others have an impressive display of celandines.
Your garden seems to always look impressive whatever the weather!

well we had sleety rain yesterday but all the plants seem to be weathering the cold. better than me any way.
yes Stera we had the sycamore seed invasion too. Easy to pull out of the borders though.

love the views through the bushes, very artistic.

Hi Linda, we were expecting to wake up to about 4" this morning, fortunately we were still green, but it's been a miserable day, no sun at all, had the lights on since about 4pm, Derek.

Its absolutely bitter cold here...no snow, but the wind is brutal! :( the ground was frozen solid today.

The wind has had a keen edge here in the so-called sunny South. Had to have the heating on in the greenhouses last night.

Next week's forecast is better : sunny intervals. Hope so as we are away for the week and don't want to return to find camellias and magnolias ruined.
