Off to Morrisons in the snow.

The car is completely snowed in so Barry and I decided to walk to Morrisons for supplies. Wine being top of the list. Here are photos of our treck via Maxwell Park.
I am sitting glass in hand, writing this blog.
I think our experience of the Swedish winter set us up for a successful mission.

Awful isn't it ... depressing and dangerous. I'm glad you were able to walk to the shop for supplies.
When our snow arrives tomorrow I won't be going out in it.

I was like you Bloomer..out to feed the birds in my slippers and not a step further!

Hi Linda, I agree with Bloomer, you have your priorities right ???, I stocked up on whisky last week,[2 months supply], Derek.

Great minds as my OH walked to ours today for the same thing and bread and milk. he said very little bread left so he used his noddle and brought strong flour and yeast. So I'll be baking bread tomorrow :o).
Lovely photos of you dressed for the conditions.

Was expecting snow, so did an online shop instead, not going anywhere in this cold, except to feed the birds....

What a brave expedition!
By the look of it, MOST people walked there as the car park looks empty!
You look lovely and cosy though.

Hubby took me on Monday so I'm alright as regards supplies, we have Lidl and Sainsbury's within walking distance, the thing I'm running out of, would you believe birdfood and dog biscuits, oops !!!, cannot have either of those going without, will probably be brave and have to take a walk with my trusty trolley...

Well I have made bread today.....a lovely smell in the kitchen, Sbg.
We are beginning to run out of fat balls for the birds, but that is not within walking distance for us, Lincslass. Barry cleared the snow off the bird feeder by opening the bedroom window and tapping the feeder with a long stick. He wasn't going out in his slippers, Karen.
There have been few cars, no buses, trains or planes in Glasgow today. We have a great underground system which is running. Most people in Morrisons had walked, Wildrose.
I don't think there would be any deliveries here, Dottydaisy.
I hope I didn't need two months supply of wine, Derek. I can enjoy the view from indoors, Bloomer, glass in hand.
It will be worse when it thaws, Hywel. Today was sunny but cold. Looks great!
The snow is soft and dry. More like Swedish snow, Siris. It will be slush by the weekend.it is pretty,Eirlys.
