All this rain has to be good for something!!

Yesterday was dry and sunny which meant I could potter in the garden. I don’t think I ever potter it always involved some strenuous trimming and ladders.
Here are some of the joys my garden has produced today.

Do we ever potter, I often say I've been doing exactly that but other people's idea's are different to mine, lol, as long as we are enjoying it its all good isn't it Linda. Your garden is always a delight to see, I love the fullness of it..

Fabulous planting Linda. Let's hope for some warm and sunny days to come. My OH has a cousin in Edinburgh and she is totally fed up with the weather. Mind you, she did used to live in very hot and dry Malawi ...

Scotland is very good for dampness,Darren.
Photo 3 is Polystrichum Setiferum from Brian. It is my favourite fern. Photo 4 is Osmunda Regalis the flowering fern.
The Aeonium is growing well, Karen.Good growth since you gave it to me. I don't know the name of the Rose. I will check that one out.
I like a full garden Siris and Shirley.......it hides the weeds.
I would rather potter in my garden than anything else, Linkslass. Well, maybe sitting on a nice beach on a Greek island would be better.
I am fed up with the rain too, Shirley. I like to wander round the garden without an umbrella.
Thanks Wildrose and Callie.

Linda, love your pics! You have a really interesting, lush garden! Love all the shade tolerant planting, you have some gorgeous flowering shrubs. Added to my favourites.

Thanks Balcony. Glad you like the shrubs Kate. I always think that mid height is important in the garden between the plants and the trees.
Karen, I think the Rose is William Lobb. It is an old Moss Rose. It has been in the garden for at least sixty years.
