The veg plot

My usual update on Barbara and my veg plot. The peas, carrots and beetroot are finally getting somewhere but the broadbeans have lots of flowers and no sign of beans. The runners are slow.
I am growing cabbage in pots to replace the garlic and onions after we lift them. The celeriac is ok and the courgettes are looking good.
I gave the pears their summer cut.

Agree! Sensational job! Monty will be quite envious I’d say!

I wish I had an assistant. Hubby won't garden. I've threatened to cut off his radish (supply).

I dig and sow seeds, Barbara waters. I like straight lines Barbara remembers growing tips from Pete, her husband who died three years ago. Between us we grow vegetables.
