Just when the garden is beginning to look green and healthy, we are expecting a ground frost over night here in Scotland! I decided I couldn’t stand losing the beautiful blooms on my Camellia so I have tucked it up for the night with a fleece.

I have just been out in the garden and broke the ice in my bird bath,I was wondering why the blackbird was not drinking or bathing.

Well done ! Worth the effort ! So disappointing to wait all year for them to bloom only to have a frost 'spoil' the blooms .....fingers and toes crossed for your camellia's ; )
