Yesterday afternoon i was lucky enough to get to Spritzhenrys beautiful garden,
the sun shone and it was the most entrancing place i’d been to in a long time, here i’ve got some photos to show you how lovely it was.

At the entrance point i was given a Sweetpea to identify me as a GOY member and was soon greeted by a lovely vision in blue who gave me a big hug and showed me further into her garden !
I had been met by Spritzhenry herself !

The garden seemed neverending and at every turn there was another gorgeous sight to feast your eyes upon, i was in my element …. flowers and plants galore !!!

I particularly liked the collection of Clematis and Roses and loved the riverbanks.

Whilst there i also met Andrea, Arlene and David and felt as if i’d known them all for years !

I bought 2 plants, a yellow Roscoea, this will go in the back garden in the north facing border and a pink Rhodohypoxis (Lily Jean), this will go in my rock garden.

Here now are the important bits ………. the things that caught my eye

Thank you Spritz for a lovely couple of hours
xx

Thanks folks, i had a wonderful time, sadly had to leave before the wine started to flow though :( !!!

Bobg that beautifully planted river/waterway ran through the first part of the garden, i could have sat on the edge there all day and night just filling my senses with it all. You'd have loved it.
I want this garden !!!!!!!!

It was lovely to meet you, too, Louise!

We've been so busy clearing up and taking signs down from far and wide that I haven't had time to log on - let alone write the blog I promised, so I'm glad you posted one...and what great photos! :-)

No, sorry, you can't have my garden...;-) But I'm really glad you enjoyed your visit.

Lovely blog, it's a fantastic garden and if all my snails were as pretty as that one I think I'd display them as well! :-)

Yes, I'd do that, too - but on the end of bamboo skewers around my borders, as a warning to other would-be slimy invaders (sorry, just been reading a history book, lol!).
