Hi Louise, we've had a quiet day here but very grey, this afternoon one shower which didn't last long. It's lovely to see you still have a lot of colour around. I love the Alaqua
I've never grown one are they hardy ?

Thanks Milky :-)
Stripes, they are here in the south, well, in 'my' garden at least so i'm sure they'd be fine there too.
Antigone, you're SO right about the colours being uplifting !
That Hemerocallis would make a nice drawing, don't you think ? You'd make a nice job of it :-)

Yes yes yes! I just need a bit of time at the mo.... inspiration is all around. Like Hywel's passiflora too...... but sometimes I think I can't improve on nature with a drawing, have to get my own interpretation going and that takes a bit of time and effort (and many sketches and try-outs that end up in the bin!)

Weather map shows full sun over our neck of the woods for tomorrow & Tuesday Louise! Your flowers still look lovely despite their shower.

Lovely photos Louise. I like the way that plants show different features with differing elements such as the rain on the Hemerocallis, the petals showing their skeleton and the raindrops on the others look like jewels

Beautiful pics as always from Louise....sometimes the rain enhances the blooms in the garden as long as it doesn't stay around for too long....lol

I especially like the coreopsis, Louise....must have a go at growing those, I think they'd do well.

Tipping it down here today, what the Scots call 'dreich' and a perfect word for it!
