I shall just sigh over those beautiful Alstroemerias again, Louise....wonderful!
Bscott, Catananche are sooooo easy to grow from seed! I had so many that I was giving plants away to neighbours and planting them all over the place! You won't need crossed fingers! :-))

Fluff, it is brilliant !
I am SO pleased i bought it, originally i was disappointed that its flowers weren't pink but when i realised exactly 'what' i had here i was chuffed to bits.
It's in a north facing border and it's really 'lifting' that area wonderfully :-)))))
I ordered another on this afternoon from a nursery !!!

Oooo thanks, Spritz! I've uncrossed my fingers! I got the catananche seed in summer, and thought I'd give it a go because it's so pretty, and I need some height in the borders. Tell me it's as easy as Cosmos and I'll be a VERY happy gardener!
