Winter again

I was looking forward to getting a day in the garden today , I have a huge list of things I want to get started, so I got up real early and rationed myself to only six cups of tea (it may have been more ) to be greeted by the scene below
It might not be to obvious due to my photography but at present it is snowing heavily
any of my Australian fellow gardeners fancy a swop for a few days , just till me hands warm up
It’s a good injection of tattie soup I would need before venturing out there!!!!

Sorry ~
my GoY sunny weather map hasn't yet worked for you !
Further south we have blue skies and sunshine, but a very cold, biting wind.
Have another cup of tea. :o)
If you make a snowman, please put a pic on GoY. Lol.

Oh I do feel for you. I'm desperate to get out in the garden too. At least you have greenhouses so are you growing in there yet? I haven't even a little one now and no space to put a proper one so I have to do windowsill planting!
cheers

No snow here but it is blowing a gale, the sun keeps coming out but when it does it rains really hard.

I truly feel for you also Mac, I did something very much the same. after listening to the weather guy on TV (always a mistake) I had all kinds of outdoor jobs planned. I awoke to fog and drizzle. Yuck! It was warm by afternoon but now they are predicting a hard freeze with chance of snow next weekend. Not good to get too far ahead of myself!

Larry will go out on the deck and look at it and come right back in...has not even asked to step out this morning..he is a total for the most part indoor cat..except for his forays onto my roof...we have too many predators here and he would be a juicy meal for a coyote....so he lives in the lap of luxury most of the time...lol...but does like to go out on the upper deck and sniff the air and look at birds etc..every so often...he is in his jungle looking over across at me me right now..he and Mary Jane have been sleeping there together...no bothering mom for anything right now...since I have Munchie sitting next to me..lol..Munchie goes home for 4 days today...Larry will be thrilled.

Sorry to hear you're not growing anything yet - I know the feeling! After I'd posted on hear we got some sleet & I thought Oh no, here we go again but (touch wood) not been too bad and the sun is out again but still cold.
When is this spring/summer coming? I'll try to post some pics to prove I did grow something! Would love to see some more pics even if they are of last summer.
cheers

Clarice - what a LOVELY thought! Thank you.
I went to church in bright sunshine - and came home in pouring rain and sleet. Now it's sunny again (3 pm) but there's a gale blowing - a cold one!
Poor you, Mac, with SNOW!!!

Oh Mac what a shame after all your plans. Cant say we had snow , just a windy, cold bright sunny morning (hung washing out) that had us taking youngest girl to the beach. On way home a thunderstorm and got home to find hail stones every where. Coal fire now lit with washing hanging everywhere. What do they say about March ~ In like a lion out like a lamb. cant get to Baaah too soon.
Just keep thinking of your latest plant order. :o)

Mac....I can totally sympathise....Snowing here for the past two days. Cold and a nasty wind blowing too. Not snowing right at this moment but I'm sure it will be before long. The skies look ominous.
I plan on having many cups of tea and contemplating the snow from the luxury of my easy chair with my feet up. After all, planning what you are going to do when the weather changes can take a lot of energy. :o)

Thanks Hywel...suns out now got about 4 inches here..should melt fast..it is the fluffy spring stuff that alwasy looks so discouraging and makes mud like crazy...part of spring, not my favorite part ...like the sun and soft showers better...
