Oh Mageth.......such a wonderful sight.....took my breath away.....I have had an idea from your pics,.. the "ladys Mantel" and what looks like "Geum" mixed together....just lovely....I have both those plants and they're not even in the same border..thanks....I love the hostas and alliums too oh and the Irises and roses.....I love ALL of them...lol

Great pics, I loved that amazing veg display and the peonies are lovely. You did really well to get pictures without a billion million people standing in front (or so it seemed this afternoon). I like the mix of alchemilla and the orange plants too, very zingy.

Wonderful, i especially like the colours in the 2nd photo. The last shot too, is that different Lavenders ?
That peony looks good aswell !!!

Motintot-yes it is geum and I too have both plants which I will put together next year, thats one of the things about the show it gives you lots of planting ideas.
Elleme-although I dont grow much veg I thought some of the GoYers would like to see this, as with the cacti
Louise 1-this is the Downderry nursery display which got a silver gilt medal. they are a fantastic supply for lavenders and they have a great web site. The peony was used in lots of the show gardens, as were white alliums and dark iris. every year there seems to be an in plant, I am so lucky to live close to London and have a hubby who shares the same pleasures
