A very mild, humid day…..the Dahlias thankfully, aren’t wilting ..not so sure I will grow the tall Dahlias next year.Perhaps the shorter ones that don’t require staking. This year the Acers and Grasses have loved this weather.
The Agapanthus are just opening…..must remind myself to divide them .
Just waiting for the lovely dark foliaged Dahlia to flower.
Zebra grass has put on a lot of growth.
This Thalictrum has taken up home with the Fond Memories Clematis in the same pot….last Autumn I thought it had all been removed but alas up it popped again this year….the Clematis has been very compromised as a result.Such a shame.

Your garden is lovely Julia! I have the Thalctrum too, but as its on the edge of the border near the arbour seat, it's behaving itself!
I have had my blue Agapanthus since Willow Cottage and have managed to divide them once and will have to try again soon, but saying that, they all flower really well without any looking after.

I agree with Rose. You have a lovely garden, it all looks so neat & under control. Colourful too.

All looking lovely,as usual,Julia :o) I love your Agapanthus, and hope you can manage to split it.. I tried that with the one I had, years ago,so I hope your pot doesn't break in the process.Mine was only in a plastic one,so I didn't mind.. One of my Zebra grasses has gone berserk this year too, even though I cut it them both hard back each spring, but I do love them.Your Dahlia is going to be lovely,do you leave it in over winter ? Please post a photo, when it flowers :o)

Hi Julia, your garden is looking absolutely fabulous. Some wonderful photos too. If I had to pick a favourite it has to be your 3rd photo.

So very pretty, Julia. You’ve captured your plants and garden from a lovely, artistic angle too. Love your mix of ornamental grasses and greenery as well as the flowering plants too. That cercis tree is something - I love the leaves on it!
