Looking out of my kitchen window I saw this young Robin who looked a little the worse for wear. He was actually eating from the seed feeder which I thought a bit unusual. He seemed to pose for me as I took the pics through the window.Haven’t seen him since :-(

Lovely pictures - good of him to introduce himself to you. I've no doubt he'll be back now that he knows you have goodies on offer :)

I haven't been putting much food out lately as there aren't that many birds about to eat it - apart from the pesky pigeons !!

Even though we have had some glorious days this week the birds decided to revisit my tables so I figured they were hinting that it was time to start filling the feeders again, blackbirds are ok as the apples are dropping like mad off the trees.......Lovely to see the robin again Nanjo......

we feed the birds all year round and we have a huge variety on the feeders, but it took a long time for us to attract such a variety of birds, we have been away for a week and at the moment there has been no birds on the feeders for the last two days, a week of empty feeders can made quite a difference, but they will come back ,they always do. I think they just sulk for a while.

Lovely to see the birds and it just proves that they do still need some 'top up' food even during the summer, when we all think there is plenty of natural food about. But Hey! perhaps he's a modern bird and likes take-away food rather than the more time consuming job of looking for it himself!
