I am so lucky.

I have the most amazing parents and we are very close. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am now. They are supportive and fun and caring and my absolute role models.

They also have the most amazing garden. Mum grows 30 different types of day lillies and the garden is every hue of bright orange, honey yellow and deep bronze. Its can’t help but bring sunshine to the dullest day.

They have spend ages constructing arches ad walkways so you feel like you are wandering around a secret garden.

Bursts of colour in the woodwork they have done breaks through the green leaves ad bushes

Every time I go and visit there’s something new to see

Living on a farm the planting sits alongside corrugated iron buildings which aren’t the nicest back drop but the colours are so vivid against the grey.

I could walk round the garden for ages, and mums so proud, quite rightly so !

Thy grow stacks of veg !

I am so proud of my parents garden. One day I hope to have a garden as amazing as this.

Love day lilies and your parents' garden is a real credit to them. Great that you have been inspired. Wish I could be around in ten years' time to see YOUR garden with such inspiration you've been given and your enthusiasm.
