Capel Manor Gardens, Enfield

We went out for a couple of hours this morning to Capel Manor Gardens. We spent an enjoyable hour and a half wandering around the gardens and here are some of the photos I took. This is the first time we have looked around here although we only live 15 minutes away! I think we may be returning later in the summer, a lovely place to visit! I like getting ideas for our own garden too, like the bamboo, cutting off the lower leaves to show off the stems. I shall certainly be doing that!

My favourite garden was the one with the Silver Birch trees. It was arranged into 3 'rooms'and the second one had these tall birches. The garden was a typical length and width of a London garden and showed me what could be done with a long narrow space.

Beautiful place. Although I do not live that near like you do, I visited it last summer and I liked it very much. Hope to visit it again this summer.
