How many Collard Doves can you fit on a bird table?

As I sat watching TV yesterday evening there was a flutter of wings and 3 Collard Doves landed on the roof of the bird table.
They were after the seed I had put out for the baby robin. Taking it in turns, they manoeuvred themselves onto the platform, the last one sliding down the roof and doing a sort of aerial 3 point turn before fitting himself on the edge!!
Luckily I had my camera there and took these pics. They all seemed quite hungry, especially the last one who stayed for ages, hoovering up all he could find!
The whole performance made me smile :)

Now where is that ginger cat??

One quite portly Collard Dove!!!

We have quite a few of these that visit the garden. They can bully the smaller birds, especially when the food is running out!

I have noticed that too Scottish! Although they often give way to the Wood Pigeons and the Magpies, who come higher up the pecking order! Ha ha- pecking order....:))

They are lovely to watch Pam, we have a couple that visit every day but get bullied by the dreaded pigeons.

I do sometimes see collared doves in the garden, they are very pretty. Great photos!

Lovely Doves, our pair have been evicted by feral Pidgeons. We have an identical bird table except I've put horizontal bars across the side to stop the Pidgeons, though they were comical as you say hovering, sliding down the roof.
