Plants and Animals!

I decided as the sun was out and there was no rain it was time to pot on my Aubergines and Sweet Peppers. So off to the greenhouse I went with a cup of tea.
I potted over 20 Aubergines and about the same of Sweet Peppers. Looks like I’ll have to give some away, I can’t bear to throw them once they have grown…
These were a few left over, I will find some pots for them tomorrow!
As I was quietly getting on with some weeding there was a bit of a rustle and leaping noises came from the bushes.Sandy had a mouse!
Is it here?
In there???
Maybe under there? The mouse was rescued by me, taken to a safe place and let free, Sandy carried on looking for him for the next 20 mins!!
Anyway I finished the weeding…..
and now the bed is ready for the annuals I have in the cold frame, waiting to go out.
As for Sandy, well, he eventually gave up on the mouse and plonked himself right by me and kept me company for the rest of the afternoon!

Thanks guys. Would you believe it, he caught another mouse about an hour later, the warm weather must have brought them out!

I hate throwing plants too. I'm glad you save them.
I've got those little plastic tools. They're handy aren't they. I use them a lot.
Well what can I say about Sandy .... he's beautiful, and pets are such good company. I've saved many mice voales and shrews. I don't know if they get caught again. I like to think not ...
