Me thinks Queen of the night is a much darker variety, some grape hyacinths would make a great contrast to the pink of your tulips - just my humble opinion :- )

I admire your forward thinking Im one of the few among my neighbours who still has summer baskets out it seems such a shame to move them until the frosts get them
We used to live in a little semi 1970 style with ceiling to ground windows (they used to freeze up on the inside) but there were some lovely plants we inherited, one I looked forward to seeing although I didnt know the variety then "Queen of the night" is a beautiful almost black tulip.
