I love seeing the photos you send Irish..my cousin ..lol.. I used to babysit her when I was 18 so she is more like a neice.. is living in Ireland with her family...I just saw pictures on a weather report of flooding in Killarney it showed very fast rushing water..is that near you at all?

8 Oct, 2009

thanks , Kilarney is about 4 hrs away from me. i hope they havent got it too bad there

8 Oct, 2009

It just showed a river rushing high..I cannot remember where her dad told me Sheri is living there.. she has enough Irish blood she most likely blends right in.. :) isn't that something..my mother was born in Kilarney, West Virgina U.S.A... :) We brought our homeland with us in names to America, you see it quite often.

8 Oct, 2009

was just reading about the flooding.
lol i didnt know there was a Kilarney in U.S.A

8 Oct, 2009

Great pic, looks a lovely place to visit.

8 Oct, 2009

thanks TOG,,,,,,, its a great place for a good walk, no matter what time of the yr . the deer are all out in the open now with their young

8 Oct, 2009

Near Dublin? Must fit in a holiday to your side of the Pond, we have always fancied a holiday in Eire.

8 Oct, 2009

yep , one of the gates is just off the quay in Dublin city centre. it is the largest public park in europe, loads to see and do in the park

8 Oct, 2009

Kilarney, West Virginia is about as far away as one can get from where I live now unless..you go to the southern keys off Florida..over 3000 miles..I still have family there too that I have never met...My mothers family moved west during the depression years from West Virginia when she was around 15 yrs old. My Great grandfather was Irish but his family had immigrated to Wales quite some time before coming to the America's and my great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee Indian. That was on my grandfathers mothers side of the family. My moms dad was Scottish and English that we know of.

8 Oct, 2009

wow , that is some family history.

9 Oct, 2009

Seems many of us here have this sort of lineage...My fathers side of the family are from Tromso, Norway, Oslo Norway, England, Wales & Scotland. LOL..I guess I am a mutt... :) But have the major ancestory from England, Ireland, Norway and American Cherokee Indian.

My husband always says a walk in the park to a dog is like reading a good book to us. Wow what a book your dogs are reading
