Lovely Gee. I have one that I bought two years ago at the village hall for the princely sum of £1-00 and it is noe sending up it's flower heads just like yours but not so many yet.

Hi Dawn - no, not growing in water but in heavy clay (dry this year!). I want to split it and move it when it has died back this year.
I bought this one from our local monthly boot fair, Toto, probably about 4/5 years ago - I think it cost £2 and now it' huge. I managed to chop off a piece a year or so ago and that is now in my back garden :)
