We don't see many wallabies in our yard when it's raining heavily.

Cute little guy, though the claws are intimidating.

Looking through your photos Bernieh you certainly can say that you had plenty of rain. All in one go by the looks of it!! Thw wild animals have to put up with it too. Hopefully the plant life will take their quota and start to flourish well.

Hi Lindak ... yes when we do get rain we tend to get downpours in a very short space of time! The animals know exactly what to do ... most of them take shelter and ride it out! Unfortunately not all my plants came through ... as usual. Because I have to have so many drought tolerant plants that can survive the rest of the year, some of them do not do well when it pours. I've lost a couple of my pelargoniums again ... they just don't like getting drowned.

Geraniums and pelargoniums don't like an excess of water do they Bernieh

Hi Lindak ... no they definitely don't like a lot of water. I thought I had got them under shelter in time, but I was wrong ... I was really cut up about losing the regal pelargoniums I had out in the courtyard as they were so lovely. Oh well ...

Bernieh in gardening you win some and you lose some. Every year is different weatherwise and bug wise I think that's part of what makes gardening so interesting as well. Some years plants really thrive and another year a total failure.
