Yes , TT it is and it does have membrane under it to stop the weeds, every morning I put a selection of small seeds in the hollows in this flint stone for the little birds but Fred has sussed it and tries to get there first.. LOL..

Do you have membrane under all your gravel areas ?

Yes we have TT .. mainly because there's a lot of Mares Tail in the field next to us and it's a constant battle to try to stop it from spreading across our garden , it's already creeping under a fence at one side , it is very difficult stuff to get rid of ...

Thanks for info...I'll look for some of your pics to add to GoYpedia Weed Suppressing Membranes.

Sandra he is a bully , he charges in and pushes the others aside to get his share ...Gee he has his fair share and more besides of whatever is going ..
Janey sad to say we haven't seen Charlie since the end of last winter , I hope it was old age and not a pheasant shoot :o( ..
Thanks Carole , it's a he :o)

Fred is a prickly pheasant
pushing other pheasants out
and when it comes to feeding time,
he pecks the food about.
He's not a pleasant pheasant
he provokes the other birds,
with his powerful plumage presence
and his rasping birdsong words.
