Thanks everyone , these long tailed tits come into my garden to feed and then usually nest in our neighbours over the ditch , I don't think thats playing the game :o(
That is a good fat ball feeder Jane but hard to get the balls in as you have to force the bars apart to get them in , it's quite difficult .!

Oh,thought it looked like you just had to open the lid and pop them in Amy !
21 Feb, 2010
It dosn't work like that Jane it's the same at the top as it is at the bottom , probably designed by a strong man ..LOL...

Hm. Must have been a man ...a woman would have thought it through !! Lol

Lovely shot Amy, one of my favourite (but infrequent) visitors to the garden - real acrobats. Pulling that feeder apart is probably very good for your pecs (every cloud eh ?) ... lol :-))
21 Feb, 2010
Oh Thanks for that Muddy , you could be right , we are going to need some muscle once we get out in the gardens ...lol...
21 Feb, 2010
Hang on - I'm intrigued now. Do you pull it apart and get hubby to put the balls in or vice versa ? Or do you have a cunning plan ? :-)
21 Feb, 2010
LOL .. you've twigged that it's almost impossible for one person haven't you Muddy , 10 points to you .. :o) yes , I usually ask him to pull it apart while I pop them in ... .. :-))

Well done another marvellous shot, still trying to entice them down from the Ginko tree.!!
23 Feb, 2010
Another lovely picture of the long tail tits, I have one of those fat ball feeders not easy to refill especially when your hands are cold, but at least the Squirells can't hijack them!
23 Feb, 2010
They are difficult aren't they Carole ... .. . I had a Ginko tree once Angela , it died on me .. :o(
23 Feb, 2010
Oh what a shame, the neighbour has one it must be over 40ft..........we have a small one which my husband has done a bit of topiary on it.
25 Feb, 2010
I believe Ginko is good for the memory ! do you do anything with the leaves ?
26 Feb, 2010
I am sorry what are we talking about? does that answer your question....lol
26 Feb, 2010

Aren't they pretty close up, had some on the roses outside the window the other day, never noticed the pink on them before.
