It's also got a light perfume which is lovely when it wafts up to the verandah.

Yes ... that's such a shame Delonix. My two are now around 2 metres tall and right now are covered in the flowers and bracts ... I just love the splashes of white in the garden beds.

I haven't given up trying to grow this plant. I purchased a concentrated solution to add to the water to make it "sweeter'...hope it works! I'm going to try another Mussaenda this coming spring. I'll see what happens.

I've been collecting a lot of rain water...I hope to use this water on my hard-water sensitive plants this coming spring and summer...as long as it last anyway. : > )

This shrub is considered rather an old-fashioned one now Marguerite. You tend to see it in the older gardens ... it was quite common a one time. I love it because it's easy to grow and flowers all year round.
