This is Tommy, the cattery cat. My granddaughter has had a Saturday job at a cattery for the last 3 years. This little cat was brought in recently by Cats Protection with a badly broken leg. The leg was set and Tommy had to be on cage rest for several weeks. His leg was finally unplastered and all seemed well. However, within days his leg broke again. He returned to the vet and the leg has now been permanently pinned. He is just out of plaster again and all seems well. My granddaughter has persuaded the cattery owner that he needs a 'cattery cat' so Tommy now has a new home. He is still having to take things slowly but is progressing well. He is 6 months old :)

I think all the girls at the cattery fell in love with him, as well as my granddaughter, so the owner didn't have much choice! Tommy loves people and will enjoy all the comings and goings at the Cattery :)
