I've been doing a similar job too, PP, but I always seem fingers and thumbs! I think you've done more than me :)

It is not my most favourite job Gee, I find it a little fiddly and tedious, Id much rather plant them out in pots when they have developed, but best of all is planting them into thei final flowering place and waiting for them to dazzle me!

I know its a busy time but can see you are enjoying yourself..Just being able to be outside is a bonus after all we`ve been through this winter, hope you have room for them all.lol........

Well done Carole, I use to do the same plant too many, so now I learned to plant a couple in a biodegradeable pot, saves all that pricking out and disturbing the seedlings.

Thats a good idea, its a shame when you have more than you need, willl try that next time ;0)

Hi PP - I had a great time today! It was quite mild surprisingly enough. Got a fair bit done and filled the wheelie bin! The hands are in a bit of a mess now as I don't wear gloves but it's all good.

Glad you enjoyed your day in the garden Irene, you sound just like me, I hate wearing gloves and Im always getting told of by Harry for the state they get in, dont care how can you get at one with nature if you dont get your hands dirty Lol

I repotted two plants. The frost had broken the other ones.

The frost has done so much damage this winter both to pots and plants, its such a shame isnt it?

What is growing behind you? Is it a Japanese maple?

Ione its two Conifers Thuja Pilcata Zebina, they are very striking conifers and were planted as a privacy screen the plant on the right is a Bamboo ;0)
