had one on a fence pole in the garden a couple of days ago and it was eating a bird, tried to get a photo but it was to far away

Brilliant photo Deida......

This bird sat on top of a small hawthorn shrub next to the bird feeder.she trapped at least 15 sparrows..but unable to get to them as the shrub was too dense..thanks goodness..her eyes got more and more fierce with frustration..

glad she didn t get any deida, poor things, bet they were frightened

Me too! I love birds of prey but hate to think of the small birds being killed.

Oh Sandra and PP the little birds were very frightend.but I knew they where safe in that shrub.
