ooooohhhhhh a ladybird convention....

23 Mar, 2010

I have a lot of them going on in my garden at the moment too, I am wondering if we are going to get a swarm of them this summer, like the one I saw in the news last year, people good not go out of their houses for a few days as they were all over the the place, buildings were covered by them. I am getting a bit weary of them.

Well I think I must have had everybodys share because they were on every plant that I looked at today ... you are not so far away Michaella so it would seem that they are in this area , I do remember the swarms we had last year it wasn't very nice at all , I remember one time when they were sweeping them up down at Cromer on the coast ., they were driving the holiday people crazy .........

Mushy ..LOL... haven't you got any in your part of Norfolk ?

23 Mar, 2010

~ we never have any~ you must have our share!

23 Mar, 2010

we sometimes get the swarms in blackpool coming across the sea onto the sea front, it happened one year when joe was about 2 and poor lad screamed as he got covered in them, and they were big to, i grabbed him and ran to the car trying to get them all off him, luckerly its not affected him, he still likes them lol

If we have swarms of ladybirds that should mean no aphids, greenfly, etc etc :)

When we had them on the coast it affected the tourist trade , people were covered in them like your Joe San .. they were hiding in their cars to try to escape them ..
