There always seems to be a robin around when I garden, but I dont remember ever seeing 2 together like this.

I don't see much difference between them. Can you tell them apart?
The one nearest camera looks a bit smarter - probably the Mr.

they are only seen together when mateing Drc other than that they dont tollerate eachother ;o)

Odd behavour when they seem to like the company of a gardener lol

they must be free sprits Drc lol, wish we could lose the hubbys for a few months to hahaha

Thats great to see them, leaving my bird feeders down bottom of garden, i have been outside most of the day, and my main job was getting birdseed that as changed into plants out the lawn, and as there was so many, i've put some weed & feed on the lawn to see if that gets rid of them.

i havent noticed anything growing, think the pigeons eat it all carol lol

Not seen my woody woodpigeon for awhile thinking about it.

Thanks Sandra...he is doing okay,bur expect him to get restless when the weather gets warmer and he wants to be out and about.Small steps at a time though.......how is your project coming along ?

glad he is doing ok ray, it must be frustrating for him and especially when weather gets better,
my project seems slow lol, hoping to carry on a little more tomoz when baz off to get a couple of flagstones up which i came across last weekend grrr, once thats done and soil all where it should be then its the best bit, the one thing ive wanted in ages shhhh! dont say it incase anyone hears you lol

Lovely shot Sandra I am amazed how you and so many others can get close up shots of birds. Whenever I try they fly away long before I can press the camera shutter button!..........lol :-(

lol richard i have my camera on zoom then i crop the picture after to bring it in more, sometimes im lucky and get closer to them :o))
