Wonderful shot! And aptly named with the black lines on the foliage. Is the flower mostly black. I got a asiatic called blackie this year that is deep red with black stripes.

Glad you like it, too, folks. It's definitely easier to sit and look at it on my screen at eye-level, lol!

The label illustration on the bulb packs show the flowers as dark maroon/burgundy, with darker lines, Gt. I've seen "Blackie", which looks very similar to one called "Black Out" which I've had for a few years, but hasn't appeared this year.
