Is it scented David?

The flowers last Spring had a slight scent, I remember. Not really choccy, a bit like vanilla, to me, anyway. ;-)
I won't let it get out of control then, Gee. :-)

Akebia quinata is listed under the National Pest Plant Accord as an "unwanted organism" in New Zealand since it is an invasive plant. [2] It is also considered invasive in several states in the eastern United States, according to the Plant Conservation Alliance. (Wikipedia.)
Make sure it does not escape cap't.

My arch has integrated planters either side, and the Akebias are in those. Hopefully, this will restrict their growth and spread. :-)
