Thats a nice name aswell, You know though Sandra think i will be getting them a new bed, know its not there fault but when they are in this bed i do keep thinking how poorly Smokey was and i keep picturing him in it.

i kept angelinas flat bed for in front of fire and i soon got use to seeing casper there, got a hub for upstairs cause angelina didnt like them so needed a new one,

You are right everything happens for a reason, when him and Tilly are playing she keeps crying as if he is really hurting her, but when there is food around he does not go near her as she may be little, but he takes a wide berth round her.

You're like me Carol, I missed Jess so much and still do but the new kittens are so full of life, which reminds me of how Jess was in the past. Like you with Smokey, she was so ill in the end, it was just awful, just like Smokey.

Its horrible is'nt it Dawn, one of my daughters was down today and took Smokey's bed for her cat, so will need to get another one Monday, they are using a large storige box now without the lid. You know Dawn although the vets kept giving him injections and medication to take every day, i sometimes wonder if it was right to keep him so ill for so long. xx

It's always so hard to know what to do for the best, Clarice, I was exactly the same with my little dog, she was seeing the vet every two weeks, so he could monitor her~all you can do is the best you can for them, it is hard to let them go, but you do know when it's the right time. Don't beat yourself up over this my friend~anyone who has ever owned a pet, has gone through the exact same thing.

Agree with Flori there Clarice, we felt a bit like that with out grey cat Oscar last year. It's such a hard decision to make, don't feel guilty. You've picked a nice name there, i like it. :~))x
