Wow, this is the prettiest fuschia I've ever seen! Would I be able to get one myself here in Oz or does it prefer the UK climate?

It is my favourite too,Pip,and it was just a chance buy from our local market.I had no idea it would look as good as this,as I'm not a Fuchsia expert at all.just buy what takes my eye.Maybe you could google it,or look on GOY Fuchsia page ?Sorry,I can't be more helpful.

I'm going to try and take more care this year of my fuchias and place them in the green house for the winter. The last 2 years getting everything straight after moving home has been a bit chaotic at times but now we seem to be straight I can settle down to other things. I have just taken nearly 40 geranium cuttings.

Lovely... and at such a bargain price ! :o)

Thanks Terra.I have got 5 cuttings going, from Anchormans tips on taking them,by putting a pot within a pot,and planting in the compost between the two...very successful..Not sure if the original ones will survive, although they are in the conservatory, which is cold...time will tell..
21 Dec, 2010
What a good idea to plant the cuttings with the pot-in-pot system... always questionable as to which fuchsias will survive the winter... Let's hope yours do well :o)
