they are sweet arent they michaella, i use to have a bird station on lawn but i couldnt stop the comman pigeons, at least 20 at a time every minuite of the day so i took it down,just having a couple of hidden feeders now and see what happens lol

makes you wonder where theyve all been doesnt it....

sure does holly, on their hols no doubt lol

I thought Millie had scared them from my garden but now I wonder if it's something to do with a summer moult because some (particularly the blackbirds) are looking very tatty.

Lots of Bluetits and Great tits Sandra, cleaned ot my birdbox that the Blue Tits nested in and so sad found a little dead one inside(

i agree Gee some are looking tatty, so you could be right there, i thought the same about casper so nice seeing them back isnt it ;o)

Great Sandra. I haven't seen a bluetit for quite some time now.

i just have the one pair, same with goldfinches to, but better than none at all ;o) i think they all suffered in last years bad winter ;o(

notice the long tail tits back again in mine . was getting worried as read some where a disease had killed loads

I've put a feeder up for the first time to encourage the birds back. The fat balls have been pecked, but that may be the pesky pidgeons.

maybe starlings Tog they love them, when i first put feeders out it took a while before they came but they did finally ;o)) good luck

lovely picture i had some blue tits lookin in my nestin box in the spring but sadly they didnt take residence. i avent seen any since.

they are very choosy jackie but even though you didnt have them nest this year doesnt rule it out for next year, i think i read the opening to the box has to face a certain way, not sure which though,
