birds are all hiding now! It's a bit stormy here today and raining all day long and now the garden is getting all flooded again! I don't know when I'll get my grass cut!....oh well.

It's been a washout here too today....even some flooding nearby. We're getting the rain that we needed in the summer when the hosepipe ban was on! Trouble is when it rains so much the grass and weeds take over!!! Ugh!

Ugh, and slosh and squelch and bleugh!

karen rain most of day here to and as soon as i step on the grass i have foot prints of mud ;o(
we have had rain most summer Wlass, im lucky i have to many plants and not enough room for weeds lol
i finally took my dead nettle up karen and moved a couple of plants about, so now i can see them, also left room for a couple more im planning on getting when my voucher finally comes through as promised monday grrr

I wonder why the delay? I had mine via email and have used it and planted the plants already! Sorry San, hope you get it sorted soon.

when i had to choose what voucher, the lady who sorts them out had gone away for two weeks, she sent me an email monday and said will have it to you within a couple of days, still nothing today so iv sent yet another email, im very dissapointed karen, iv already chose my plants to ;o( will await a reply

i emailed and she said just waiting for the finance to clear as its from university, so should be in next couple of working days with some luck,

Oh yes, please do! I bought a Cornus 'Midwinter Fire', a Ceanothus 'Autumnal Blue' and an Aster Frickartii 'Monch'. They're all doing well so far and I'm hoping that the midwinter fire will give me a bit of winter colour!

sound great karen, i will look them up, im not getting in the garden at the moment, one its so cold and two i havent had much time ;o( oh well once joe goes i will be doing a bit more to stop me missing him boohoo lol

Its been soooooo grey here today - so grey I did my tax return! Feels great to have it over with though! Time to get out my daylight lamp I think!

thanx jackie, yes i am lucky and being in a village we have lots of birds and wildlife, lots of fields and farm land.

I just think this is so good, he looks very "at home"
