Golden fern

Golden fern (Dryopteris erythrosora)

It looks as though it's been sprayed, but it hasn't. Usually, it has a tinge of colour, so I was surprised to see it looking like this today.

Hi Pam - well, all the golden fronds have now gone brown. Shame, I know, after all that beauty. :-( I'll have to trim them off in the spring.

13 Jan, 2011

Well, I hope it comes through okay.
Wishing you a Happy New gardening Year.
Hopefully may see you again this year.

Thanks, Pam - and you!

That would be lovely. :-) I'm afraid that the plant you brought me last year died. :-(((((((

I think the ferns will be fine - they have plenty of green leaves as well as the (now) brown ones.
