How lovely that he's returned to you. Haven't seen mine in the garden but I hear them over by the pond along with the ducks.

How lovely, I only see them in the wild on lakes etc. Kind of lucky we don't have one of these really as the dogs would go crazy, pheasants and moorhens.............naughty pups! great to see though.

He hasn't forgotten your kindness last year San in feeding them when they needed it , it's nice to have him visit again :o)

Glad he's back, i'm not getting as many birds as i use to, think its because Tillk & Jack are always in garden, they've not managed to get any of them yet (thankgoodness) but Donna's cat and the cat that lives next door to her are about 3-4yrs old and they do catch birds and are always in my garden. hope you keeping ok.xx

thanx lulu, i have to watch out that he isnt in the garden when i let casper out, not sure what casper would do, but i know size doesnt matter lol :o)

Nice to have a Moorhen in your garden , hope he becomes a regular visitor. I saw a Bullfinch this moorning tucking into the food Id put out, but by the time I ran to get my camera he had gone!

dont you just hate that carole, runnibg for camera then nothing grrr, i put some wholemeal bread out for him so think he will be back again :o)

Hope so Sandra, I sometimes think I should enjoy watching the birds rather than running for the camera and then missing them'0)

probably true carole, depending on the bird now i wait and see, if like the moorhen i think its hanging around for a while i go get the camera but if its a flighty bird i just enjoy now and hope i have my camera another day lol

Yeah! Lovely to have one of these in your garden San...fairly cheers me up to see all the birds..as you know! I have to go and get more food tomoz and the kids used it all up when we were away. Garden is sopping wet now...yours?

hi karen nice to see you back, yes i love to see the birds to, makes me feel like spring is on the way, my garden quite wet to after lots of showery spells, i just try to ignore it lol :o))
