Just found this in the GC ~ it has 25 flowers and 6 buds! I made the only possible choice and bought it!!! It was less than half the price i would expect to pay for an orchid with 4 flowering stems. Grown in Worcestershire!

i thought it was a bargain and so did the nice lady who was on the tills ~ perhaps i should have titled this ~ how much would you pay?
but perhaps the price isnt the most important ~ its how much pleasure it gives.

Beautiful Sticki, I wouldn't resist either....
Try to take another picture so we can see the real color of it. It sounds gorgeous white with fuchsia pink center.

Beautiful and I would have found it difficult to resist too :)

Beautiful Orchid and so many flowers a real bargain!

it's a good sharp picture ST despite the camera's brain not processing the white, happens to the best of us. Pop it outside & take a shot or two with natural daylight. Also, for real stunning effect hold the plant up with one hand & take the shot with blue sky behind the flowers. Now this is'nt always possible so popping the plant on a step ladder will be better. Sounds overly fussy I know but blue sky background & white flowers make frameable photo's.

nice phal good colours.
28 Jan, 2011
I love that one, a gorgeous colour.
28 Jan, 2011
i only hope i can keep it alive - ive bought some orchid food.
28 Jan, 2011
make sure you don't over feed/water it sticky, good luck :o)
28 Jan, 2011
water it once a week and let it drain? not sure about feeding?
29 Jan, 2011
in the growing period once a week not during rest period, give it a spray mist once a day if you can and wipe the leaves to keep off dust, once flowers have faded, cut above the node on flower stalk and you'll get a second show of flowers in a few months, happy orchid growing sticky ;-)

Ooh, this makes a change for me, I am the first comment! I couldn't have resisted this either, Sticki, even if my houseplants do have a tendency to meet an early demise in my hands....sob! This is gorgeous!!\0/x
