Thats beautiful Sticki. I have one like that, but it hasnt so many flowers as yours.

think i was very lucky - never seen one with so many flowers for the amount i paid! think it might have been a mistake!!

Maybe, usually the more stems the more expensive
28 Jan, 2011
thats what i thought.
normally about 9 - 10 pounds for 2 stems?

another lovely phal i love moth orchids.
28 Jan, 2011
why are they called moth orchids? - is it the shape of the flower being like moth wings?
29 Jan, 2011
Yes they look like a large moth in flight also named after a large moth group phala i think n/opsis is like so "moth like " orchids are my one true plant love i used to grow loads when i was younger.

didnt know all that ~ thanks surreylad. ive only had one or two as presents and they havent lasted too long. dont think i have ever bought one myself before ~ mainly cos i dont want to spend lots of money and then lose the plant.

Oh what a real beauty Sticki. My sis in law very successful in growing these but I dont have a good track record for indoor plants. I wish you luck. I know they last for months cos whenever I visit its always in flower (she keeps it in the downstairs loo in the window and of course I visit the room every time we go lol!) Great bargains are the best!

Ahrrr you got the colour this time its a stunner and you chose the right one too these never let you down with flowering freqently like the others, as long as feed water and spray don't forget don't leave any water at the bottom least it will kill it.
