Thank you all very much, we grow three camellias, a pink a white and this one which is the prettiest of them all, the soil suits them as it is very acid, so we grow many Pieris alongside them.

its lovely Dd-- mines in a pot and still tight buds-- your climate is so much warmer than where I live the most in my garden is snowdrops and a few brave primroses

Last year mine was an absolute picture. This time there is not one bud, they have all fallen off, mostly due to frost.

This is lovely Dd, I've recently bought one in bud on line. It's still in its pot and has quite a few buds, if it's as pretty as this I'll be thrilled:-)

BA sorry have no idea lost the label many years ago, thanks Tetra, just hope it stops raining soon as all the buds will get too soggy and fall off.
This plant is at least 8 years old now and has matured well and being evergreen makes a good screen.
