just spotted this little wren peeping out from the nest box today, then he/she came in and out a few times with food ~ im hoping there are eggs and that they will hatch and fledge successfully. the oak tree is at the bottom of my garden.

Wonderful shot, wrens are so cute, such a lot of noise from a small bird (chirping at cats mainly!)

How lovely, I havent see the Wren nesting in a birdbox before, hope all goes well with the fledging! I have been following Blue Tits in one of my boxes at the nest building stage, havent seen them for over a week now so hope the nesting hasnt failed!

I think it's bird behaviour to become very quiet when on the nest...maybe you don't see them because they don't want anyone to see them?? I really hope this is the case. I miss my big bird/apartment/house....we had three or four families at once all coming and going. Watching them is better than television!
