I love it Amy, I have a HUGE clump in the gravel below the window where I have my computer. When I look out, I see the whole clumb from the top, just fab! I have about 20 big seedlings from it, it loves to seed in gravel.

Mine is weeks away from flowering,it must like your growing conditions.

I think it likes gravel, against a wall and hot. The ones in the flower beds are way behind.

Thats interesting Lulu , I'll put some in my gravel in the hope that I will have some seedlings . we haven't had very much rain at all Bjs maybe it like dry conditions , Thanks Dawn , I've never grown them from Seed Sandra I hope your seeds 'take' O.K :o)

My last ones were from seed,Amy,and they grew well..I had them about six years,soI was surprised they didn't come again this year..very strange..

That is strange maybe that is as long as they last for , I've looked it up Sandra and my book says they need a winter mulch to protect the crowns from frost ,( I didn't know that ) perhaps yours were killed by the frost ...

I didn't know that either,Amy,so thanks for that..I didn't do anything,so no wonder they died after the winter we had..
