Can't recommend it enough!
Those Gunnera will be truly huge in a couple of months!

That's fantastic, all those greens, and not one the same, so much variety and texture.
You would love it lulu.

It was worth the walk in the rain, and nice not to have a hangover this time!!
25 Jun, 2011
I must make a plan!
Hope you were wearing your waterproofs Meanie!
It's meant to be 30 degrees here on Monday...to hot!
25 Jun, 2011
Make a plan!
If thirty degrees is too hot, don't bother with the biospheres at the Eden Project!!
Stuff waterproofs - I'm a man! Wasn't hacking it down either......
25 Jun, 2011
LoL! I garden in waterproofs if it's monsooning it down as for the Eden Project, isn't it humid in there?
25 Jun, 2011
Oooh yes - hot and sticky!!
My kinda climate!
You're a Kiwi as I recall aren't you?
25 Jun, 2011
I like hot and sticki when it's cold outside.
I used to live in NZ, Queenstown, south Island. I was born in London! I spent my youth in Battersea and Hyde parks and later lived near Richmond park.
25 Jun, 2011
Ahhh, Queenstown - many a hangover that place inflicted upon me!
25 Jun, 2011
that looks excellent, love to see that.
25 Jun, 2011
It is a fantastic place to visit Surreylad.
25 Jun, 2011
Oh goodness me too, one whole bottle of tequila! Never touched the stuff since the 80's!
25 Jun, 2011
Tequila and me never got past Auckland!
25 Jun, 2011
LOL! It's Negronis for me now!
25 Jun, 2011
If I ever hit spirits, it's Remy or Hennessy nowadays!!
Which is why I never really got to the Jungle on our last visit!
25 Jun, 2011
Lol, we are partying tonight and can't get a cab so am sleeping in the car with hubby and 3 dogs and no doubt waking up to a hangover and cricked neck!
25 Jun, 2011
I have to watch what I drink so as to avoid hangovers nowadays - they destroy me!
For some reason red wine gives me a bad head now, yet good cider no longer does.....
It's pathetic really, as I used to think nothing of going on 36 hour benders, frequently involving flying somewhere. Now I can be scrap after three hours!!

Have you tried the new toffee vodka ~ perhaps only for those with a sweet tooth?
25 Jun, 2011
Hate to say it, but that sounds yuk! But I'm a little weird about sweet things, and Vodka should only ever be over ice......
25 Jun, 2011
It comes straight out of the freezer, and then on top of ice. Much too easy for me to drink.
25 Jun, 2011
Sounds like my Dads kind of drink.
Hot chocolate with Creme de Bananes in is lovely!
25 Jun, 2011
Certainly worth a try, maybe when it's cooler weather?
25 Jun, 2011
First time that I had it was in Las Palmas - went down a treat!
25 Jun, 2011
Never been there - furthest I have been is Naples, but that's when I was younger. I remember some lovely food from more recent travels ~ lasagne at the top of an Italian mountain, lemon champagne and limoncello ice cream on the shores of lake Garda and nearer to home venison burger on the isle of Jura.
25 Jun, 2011
Venison burger sounds gooood! I have some minced venison in the freezer.
25 Jun, 2011
It was very good. Also had roast venison with stornoway black pudding - excellent.
25 Jun, 2011
I made an excellent cottage pie with some of it!
25 Jun, 2011
Now you are making me hungry. Do you do take away?
25 Jun, 2011
Occasionally!
25 Jun, 2011
If you post your menu I might order one!
26 Jun, 2011
It'd be cold by the time that it got there!
I may do a blog with my perfect chilli recipe.
26 Jun, 2011
Yum, Venison and yum black pud!
Now funny having mentioned it......too hot to garden (yeah I'm a woose) Negroni by the pond!
26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011

26 Jun, 2011
That's very beautiful!
27 Jun, 2011
The photo doesn't do it justice.....
27 Jun, 2011
There was rather a nicely illustrated book about heligan when I was there, I think it may have used water colours??
I think I take so many photos just to get the right one ~ I'm still trying!
27 Jun, 2011
The double foxglove is a very big secret!!!! Apparently thrue to seed!!
Sssh, don't tell any one...I saw it at Special Plants Nursery!
27 Jun, 2011
Will you be sharing the seed?!
27 Jun, 2011
