I do dig them up Simbad...If there are any im not fussy about then i leave them...I have a shed which houses the boiler that runs the oil heating for the house and its perfect...always frost-free..When i dry them out (very important) i wrap them individually in newspaper and store them in boxes...Quite a few of those in pots get left in the pot (dry) and i just sit them on the shelves in the shed...or anywhere really...I have a sun-room and it over-winters quite a few boxes too.....pretty successful...:>)

Lovely bloom Motinot....I love all the "Bishops" apart from Landalf.........everyone raves about it....but......

I love all the Bishops too Alice, especially 'york'..but i lost it last Winter..I love Landaff too, but it wouldnt be my favourite Dahlia...:>)

You so many lovely dahlias Motinot, do you dig them all up to overwinter?, I have a friend who has so many she stores them under the bed, table in fact anywhere there's a space :-))
