They are like mine Dawn, so they maybe are, thanks for mentioning, I need to save more....:o)

Thought they would be Janey, seeds from GOY members always seem to do better than bought seed.

Thanks Crissue. We've had the pond for around 9 years. Gradually bulrushes and reeds began to take over so we re-dug it last year to make it deeper so the reeds cannot take hold so much. I'll certainly be keeping them in check this time.

Sure have done a sterling job, and not an easy one either....

You're right there Crissue, dealing with wet, heavy clay was no fun. Hired a digger for 2 weeks, poor husband was on it for 10 hours per day, so much clay had to be moved around.

I can believe that...Used to garden on clay, on the I.O.W. no fun...so I can imagine the mammoth task you both had...well done OH too...

Agree, clay no fun but then again without the clay, we wouldnt have the pond, too big and expensive for a liner.
